Rahideh (born 1994) is an Iranian-born, London-based artist who began exploring art at a young
age under the guidance of a dedicated teacher and artist, continuing until her teenage years. She
holds a BA (Hons) in Architecture from the University of Westminster. Following her graduation,
Rahideh had a profound insight that led her to dedicate her life to meditative art and her unique
vision.

As a spiritual seeker, Rahideh embarked on a journey to decondition her mind, shedding
preconceived notions and responding to her surroundings with natural spontaneity. Her aim is to
transcend arbitrary identities such as religion, race, and other belief systems.

In her paintings, Rahideh bridges the inner and outer worlds, using them as a canvas to express her
ongoing journey of self-discovery. Each artwork represents different states of consciousness,
nurtured through various meditation practices. Thus, trees, animals, and nature in her works
symbolise the embodiment of her physical and emotional experiences.

Reflecting her personal philosophy, Rahideh believes that overcoming darkness requires the
simultaneous introduction of light. Her paintings convey this through a deliberate absence of linear
perspective, evoking a sense of 'is-ness' and unity between artist and creation. For Rahideh, painting
is a surrender to the mystery of existence, allowing life itself to manifest through her work.

In her artistic vision, Rahideh seeks to create art without ultimate intention, avoiding any imposition
on viewers. She invites others to contemplate her paintings as a means to embark on their own inner
journeys, respecting the freedom of interpretation and personal exploration.
